Budget Cash To Improve Livelihoods
CHINA will spend two thirds of its central budget on improving people's livelihoods, Finance Minister Xie Xuren said yesterday.
The funds will be used to boost education, health care, social security and job creation.The government will also use the money to improve agriculture, water conservation, transport and environmental protection.
China's central budget hit 5.436 trillion yuan (US$827.6 billion) this year, up 12.5 percent over last year.
