Builders die on hospital site

THE collapse of the foundations of a building at a hospital construction site in northern China's Hebei Province killed four workers, the hospital said yesterday.
The four were rescued after being buried in the foundations of the Hebei People's Hospital but were pronounced dead in the hospital. Continuous rains made the soil soft, which may have caused the collapse, a worker said.
