Building a stronger Party

PRESIDENT Xi Jinping has called for unswerving adherence to and improvement of the Party leadership.
Xi urged the building of a stronger Party, noting that only by ensuring its strong vitality and strength can it lead the people to successfully deal with major challenges, resist major risks, overcome major obstacles and resolve major conflicts, in order to claim one victory after another.
“Practice has told us that the governance of the Party concerns not only the future and destiny of the Party, but also that of our nation,” he said.
“We must improve the governance of the Party with greater determination, courage and effort.”
“The strict governance of the Party will always be an ongoing process,” Xi said, stressing that the future of a political party or government is ultimately determined by whether the people are for or against it.
Xi said the Party still had a long way to go to achieve strict self-governance.
