Burglar saves woman's life

AN old woman in northwest China is looking for a burglar - to thank him for saving her life when she had a heart attack while he was robbing her home.
Eighty-year-old Zhang woke at 4am with a strong pain in her chest and choking on Saturday in her house in Lanzhou City, the capital of Gansu Province.
She then tried to reach her medicine and a glass of water on the bedside table but failed, smashing the glass onto the ground.
Suddenly she saw a man looming near her bed in the dark, reported Lanzhou Morning Post today.
Zhang begged him to save her and the man, after a moment of hesitation, quickly poured her a glass of water and helped her take the medicine.
The man admitted he broke into her house through the window and was searching for money when the sound of breaking glass scared him.
Zhang said nothing was stolen and wanted to thank the kind burglar, who left after he confirmed Zhang was in a stable condition.
