Bus blazes after gas leak
A GAS leak caused a bus to burst into flames in Beijing at 6am today. Nobody was hurt, according to China News Service.
The bus was empty except for the driver and a conductor when it caught fire. They called the fire brigade, which controlled the fire as it burnt the bus to its frame.
Beijing Public Transport Holdings Ltd said it would carry out a safety check on the city's buses.
Three hours later, another similar fire broke out in a double-deck bus in Xining City, Qinghai Province. Nobody was hurt in that fire, and investigations are continuing.
