Bus driver kills nine in rampage

POLICE arrested a man suspected of killing nine people and injuring 11 today after he hijacked a bus owned by his employer and deliberately crashed it on a crowded road.

Zhang Yimin, 40, allegedly took the bus after he stabbed a colleague surnamed Li in a quarrel about 8am in northeast China's Tianjin.

Police used about a dozen vehicles to stop Zhang, who crashed into three police cars and injured four offices before he was seized in the city's Binhai New Area.
