Bus with Chinese tourists overturns in collision in Thailand , injuring 30-plus
MORE than 30 tourists were injured today when a bus carrying Chinese visitors collided with a passenger van carrying tourists from Europe in northern Thailand’s popular Chiang Mai tourism city today, leaving more than 30 injured, Chinese media reported.
The bus carrying the Chinese visitors overturned. It is unclear yet how many of the injured tourists are from China and how badly the victims were injured.
The victims were rushed to local hospitals.
Chiang Mai was boosted as a tourist destination for Chinese by the blockbuster movie “Lost in Thailand,” which featuring beautiful views of the city.
