Bus-truck collision kills seven

A HEAD-ON collision between a bus and a truck early this morning killed seven people and injured 28, including two American Chinese, in Rui'an City, east China's Zhejiang Province.

Police said four of the injured are in a critical condition, the China News Service reported.

The crash occurred 2.40am when the bus ran into a truck on the Rui'an section of the Yongtaiwen Highway, traffic police said.

The bus was traveling from Shanghai to Fuzhou, in southeast China's Fujian Province, and the truck was traveling to Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province.
