CPC appoints new Party chief for Yunnan

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday said it has appointed Li Jiheng as head of the CPC's Provincial Committee of Yunnan Province, replacing Qin Guangrong.
Li served as the governor of Yunnan before the new appointment.
His predecessor, Qin, will be appointed to a different position, the CPC Central Committee said in a statement, without giving further details.
