THE 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) closed its fifth plenary session today.
The plenum examined and approved the proposals for formulating the development plan for the next five years (2011-2015).
Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a work report on behalf of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee at the four-day session starting from October 15.
