Call for restraint over Sony incident
CHINA has appealed to all parties involved to remain calm over the alleged cyber attack on United States-based Sony Pictures, a foreign ministry spokeswoman said yesterday.
“We hope all parties can keep restraint to properly deal with the issue,” Hua Chunying said. “Cyber attacks tend to be anonymous and transnational so we must have full, professional and complete facts before making any conclusions,” Hua said.
China will make judgements based on facts and deal with attacks in line with international and local laws, she said.
