CHINA has called on the United Nations Security Council to quickly take action over Israel's attack.
"China is shocked by Israel's attack on a multi-national convoy carrying international aid to Gaza which resulted in heavy casualties," said Yang Tao, a counselor of the Chinese permanent mission to the UN, at the 15-nation council's emergency meeting in New York.
