China Ready For Close Contact With NTC

FOREIGN Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said yesterday that China is ready to maintain close contact with the National Transitional Council of Libya.
"China attaches great importance to the important position and role of the National Transitional Council in resolving the Libya issue," Ma said.
"China is ready to maintain close contact with it and steadily advance China-Libya relations," Ma said.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun attended the "Friends of Libya" international conference in Paris yesterday as an observer for the Chinese government.
