China Ready to Help
CHINESE Premier Wen Jiabao expressed "deep sympathy and solicitudes to the Japanese government and people" yesterday.
In a message to Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan, Wen said that China would offer any necessary assistance. Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi also offered his condolences to his Japanese counterpart.
Chinese earthquake rescuers are ready to go to Japan to join in relief work if needed, director of the China Earthquake Administration Chen Jianmin said.
