China Urges Philippines To 'Take Effective Measures'
THE Philippines has forwarded a copy of a second report into a hostage-taking incident to the Chinese embassy, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said in Beijing yesterday.
"The report is being scrutinized by the Chinese side," Ma told a regular news briefing.
"We hope the Philippine side will take effective measures and appropriately deal with the aftermath of the hostage crisis," said the spokesman.
