CHINA appealed for stronger cooperation with the US on cyber security yesterday.
Foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei was responding at a daily press briefing to a question claiming US governmental organizations and businesses had been victims of cyber attacks by the Chinese military.
"We would like to sit down with the United States, communicate on the issues and discuss the formulation of related international regulations so as to jointly safeguard peace, security, openness and cooperation in cyberspace," he said.
