China sends more planes to Egypt
SHANGHAI-BASED China Eastern Airlines yesterday said it would send two charter planes to Egypt to bring back Chinese citizens stranded by the crisis.
Yesterday, two flights with a total of 480 Chinese people arrived back in Beijing and Guangzhou, capital of southern China's Guangdong Province.
Among the passengers who arrived in Guangzhou were about 40 primary school students who had been invited to perform at a New Year concert in Cairo.
