China to host world leaders’ summit in 2016

CHINA is to host the G20 summit in 2016 and President Xi Jinping said China is confident of fulfilling its role as chair and as a member of the management troika in 2015 and 2017.
The G20 has no permanent staff and the chair rotates between members selected from a different regional grouping each year. The chair is part of a revolving troika of past, present and future chairs whose role is to ensure continuity in the G20’s work and management.
