China urges quick explanations
China urged the Philippines yesterday to quickly release the findings of a probe into the deaths of the eight Hong Kong tourists.
"We believe that the most urgent task is to get clear investigation results of the incident as soon as possible," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said.
A Philippine government official said yesterday that its high-level delegation to Beijing and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to brief the Chinese side the hijack crisis was postponed. He said it would be reset soon.
