China willing to help development in Nigeria
WITH its technical prowess and rich experience, China is willing to participate in Nigeria’s infrastructure construction, including coastal railway projects, visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said yesterday.
At a press conference with President Goodluck Jonathan, Li also expressed Beijing’s readiness to cooperate on project financing.
Li said the two sides had agreed to enhance high-level exchanges and promote strategic dialogues, trade and economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.
He also said reasonably priced regional jets developed by China could be a choice for Nigerian and other African airlines.
While in Nigeria, Li is due to attend the 2014 World Economic Forum.
