Chinese nationals home safely

CHINA had evacuated 1,151 nationals from Kyrgyzstan where ethnic clashes have left at least 189 people dead, Chinese authorities said yesterday.
The eighth chartered flight of China Southern Airlines, with 191 nationals aboard, landed at an airport in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 7:25pm yesterday from Osh.
A ninth took off from Urumqi for Osh at 8:08pm to fetch more Chinese. It is expected back this morning.
