Chinese police make 19 drug arrests

Police in northeast China's Liaoning Province announced today arrest of 19 suspects for drug dealing offences.

Officers in Dalian city in Liaoning Province arrested 19 suspects and seized 5.36 kg of methamphetamine, 192 g of "magu," a stimulant composed of methamphetamine and caffeine, and 131,000 yuan (US$21,497).

The gang caught the attention of local police on September 12, buying methamphetamine in Guangdong Province in the south and selling through QQ, China's most popular instant messaging service.

The whole gang was busted by Oct.30 after several raids.
