Chinese president inspects PLA garrison in Macau

CHINESE President Xi Jinping on Saturday inspected the Chinese People's Liberation Army Garrison in the Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Taipa Island.

Xi, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the inspection after attending celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland and the inauguration of the SAR's fourth-term government.
