Chinese tourist dies
A Chinese tourist from Shanghai and a pilot were killed as a small plane crashed into a hill in western Nepal yesterday.
The ultra-light aircraft was flying over a lake in Pokhara when it slammed into the hill near a Buddhist monastery at 9:30am in cloudy conditions, local police said. The 33-year-old Chinese tourist, identified as Liu Jian, and the pilot were both killed.
