A Chinese woman was killed and her son injured during Saturday’s attack on the shopping mall in Nairobi, the Chinese Embassy in Kenya confirmed yesterday.
The 13-year-old boy is currently receiving treatment in hospital where he is to undergo surgery, according to businessman Wang Cuo, who was believed to be a friend of the dead woman.
The 38-year-old woman and her son were shopping at the mall when shooting broke out on Saturday.
