Choppers, divers join massive search for three minors lost in countryside
MORE than 3,000 people have been mobilized to search for three children who have gone missing since Tuesday in Pujang County, east China’s Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou Daily reported Thursday.
Two girls, Chen Xinyi, 12, and Chen Minjie, 8, and Chen Xinyi’s brother, Chen Hanlin, 7, were last seen by their families after 10am on Tuesday when the three went out to play together, it reported.
More than 3,000 people, including relatives, volunteers and police, have been dispatched for a blanket search in surrounding areas.
On Wednesday, three police helicopters were sent to fly over local hills. On Thursday, scuba divers were asked to dive in a 10-meter-deep drinking water reservoir. But so far no clues have been found.
