Coal chemistry factory blast in Xinjiang kills 3

THREE people have been killed in a coal chemistry factory blast in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as of 9 am today, local officials said.

The accident occurred at about 11:12 pm yesterday in the western suburb of the region's capital Urumqi, in a coal chemistry factory belonging to the 12th Agriculture Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
