Cold-blooded driver nabbed for rolling over boy

POLICE in eastern Jiangsu Province have detained a driver who allegedly ran over a three-year-old boy four times in a hit-and-run accident.
The driver, surnamed Wu, was backing up his BMW SUV when he hit the boy who was playing behind the car on a driveway in a residential complex in Xinyi County last Tuesday.
A surveillance video near the area showed the boy was rolled over by the left rear wheel. Wu stopped for a moment then moved up running over the kid again.
He parked the car and came out to check. However, the SUV rolled backward oddly on itself and ran over the boy third and fourth time with its rear and front wheels.
Wu left the scene without calling police or taking the boy to hospital, the local Yangtze Evening News reported today.
