Collapsed decorated archway kills two in Hangzhou

TWO passers-by died after a decorated archway at a busy commercial area and tourism destination in China's eastern city Hangzhou suddenly toppled over this morning.
A couple of others are injured as the Hefang Street, a pedestrian street in downtown Hangzhou, welcomed hundreds of tourists like any other Sundays when the wood-brick structure suddenly collapsed at about 9:30am.
Preliminary investigation showed that highly corroded pillars are the main cause of the mishap, Hangzhou government said.
