Commemorating victory
CHINA is to hold commemorative activities as the 69th anniversary of winning the war against Japanese aggression approaches.
To mark the hardship and the dauntless struggle of the Chinese people in the anti-Japanese war, and to demonstrate China’s will to safeguard peace and oppose aggression, September 3 has been declared Victory Day.
December 13 is named as a memorial day to commemorate the Chinese killed during the 1937 Nanjing Massacre.
