Concrete mixer trucks runs out of control

A PERSON was killed and 11 were injured yesterday morning in a traffic accident caused by a concrete mixer truck in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
The mixer truck crashed into seven vehicles including two buses and one truck when its brakes failed, Shenzhen police said.
The truck had just left the Qingping Highway on an exit ramp, Southern Metropolis Daily reported today.
A middle-aged man surnamed Zeng travelling in the front passenger seat of a vehicle died when the truck ran over it.
The mixer truck driver surnamed Tang was also seriously injured.
All the injured people were in stable condition.
The mixer truck belonged to Shenzhen Weihai Construction Co Ltd and had many traffic violations, the report said.
