Corpse rapist, 20, sentenced to death

A Beijing court sentenced a 20-year-old man to death today for robbing and killing a student couple and raping the woman's corpse in April.
Teng Xianhe was the only adult suspect in the case who stood trial in Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court, reported China News Service today. Another three underage suspects will be tried separately.
Teng said he will appeal against the sentence, arguing that he was singled out because he was an adult, the report said.
He committed several other crimes during his one-year stay in Beijing as a migrant from Liaoning Province, according to the indictment. He was fired for stealing in February from his job as a security guard.
Teng and three accomplices stabbed the 19-year-old students to death in a park, robbing them of cash and then raping the woman's corpse, the court heard.
