Couple accused of leaking exam answers
A COUPLE planning to tie the knot to celebrate their excellent performance in government recruitment tests were caught for allegedly cheating by publishing the test questions and answers online.
They were caught in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, last Thursday, where the couple stopped over on the route their hometowns to register their marriage, today's Southern Metropolis Daily reported.
They were accused of stealing state secrets by publishing the answers online for the recruitment test for government workers in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region hours before the test was held on January 16.
The couple, both teachers at a training school in Guangxi for government job seekers, told police they published the test to help their students gain high scores, the newspaper said.
They said they got the details from an unknown Netizen.
They took the test themselves and both got good marks so decided to get married to celebrate. However, more job seekers than usual also got high scores, which sparked an investigation.
