A TOWER crane fall that killed three and seriously injured five others in south China's Guangdong Province on Friday was caused by a broken arm of the machine, authorities said.
The balance arm of the tower crane at the construction site of a skyscraper in Dongguan City plunged from the 52nd floor after the power arm broke. A crane operator was among the three killed. The other two were working on the first floor.
