Cross-Strait app
A NEW smartphone app released yesterday claims to make life easier for people who engage in activities across the Taiwan Strait.
The program provides information and documents related to doing business, studying, getting married and even adopting children, the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) said at a launch event.
It runs on both Android and iOS devices, it said.
Tian Chunmiao, whose husband is from Taiwan, said she thinks it is a good idea.
“The app is more convenient, especially when I’m trying to sort out paperwork,” she said.
The app will be updated regularly, an SEF spokesperson said.
