Cruel abductors pull teeth out of children

A couple in northwestern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was captured recently for abducting four children aged 3 to 4. They reportedly pulled out the front teeth of these children to prevent them from talking clearly to others.
The husband surnamed Rou and his wife surnamed Hai were arrested in their home in Hotan City after police received tip-offs from local residents. The officers found four children in their home, all without front teeth.
At first Hai claimed the children were her own, but DNA tests proved she was lying. She admitted that she and her husband were infertile for a long time and decided to abduct children two years ago. She pretended to be pregnant to mislead others.
Afraid the abducted children might reveal the truth, the couple brutally pulled out the front teeth of these children with pliers.
Police have sent the children to their parents, local media reported yesterday.
