Deadly blast

A MAN was killed after his belongings exploded yesterday morning while he was crossing a road in Qingdao, Shandong Province. It was not yet known what the man had been carrying. A passing car was damaged in the blast. No other casualties were reported. A witness said he had heard a loud noise. The cause was under investigation.
