Death for kebab seller who killed 2 urban officers

A street vendor in Shenyang, capital of northeast Liaoning Province, was sentenced to death for stabbing two urban management officers to death, but his wife insisted that he was defending himself.
Xia Junfeng was selling shish kebabs with his wife when they were confronted by a squad of urban management officers in May 2009. The couple was brought to their office for questioning, China Youth Daily reported.
According to the city's prosecutors, Xia began to argue with three officers, Shen Kai, Zhang Xudong and Zhang Wei in the office of Shenyang Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau. Their clash turned violent and Xia took out a knife and stabbed two of them dead and severely wounded another.
