A MAN was sentenced to death for intentionally running over a man with his car, a court said yesterday. The Intermediate People's Court in Suzhou City said that Tao Dongji was given the death sentence with a reprieve of two years for murdering Zhang Rongqiang in May 2009. Tao confessed that he offered the victim a ride home after accidentally hitting him. He then pushed Zhang out of the car and intentionally ran into Tao. The court gave a reprieve because Tao confessed.
