Death toll in vehicle reservoir plunge rises to 7

The death toll in a vehicle plunge in central China's Hubei Province yesterday has risen to seven, after another three bodies were salvaged from a lake, said rescuers this morning.
Rescuers consisting of police and fire fighters said that the sport utility vehicle with eight people aboard veered off a narrow mountain road and plunged 20 meters into the reservoir in Xuan'en County in the west of Hubei yesterday noon, after the driver steered the vehicle to avoid a coming vehicle.
One person was found alive with injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
