Death toll in Shanxi bus roll over rises to 11
THE death toll in north China's bus rollover this morning has climbed to 11, local police said.
The accident occurred at 11:20 am in Datong City of Shanxi Province when the bus hit the guardrail on the outer ringroad of city.
A total of 30 people were aboard the bus, and 19 were injured. The injured were all rushed to hospital and six were in serious condition, according to police.
Preliminary investigation shows slippery road due to snow was to blame for the accident.
The bus was from Ulanqab city of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to Taiyuan city of Shanxi Province.
