Definitely time to wrap up warmly

Cold air is expected to sweep most parts of north China, bringing strong winds and a sharp plunge in temperatures over the next three days, the China Meteorological Administration forecast yesterday.

Temperatures in the northwest and northeast of China as well as regions along the Yellow River and Huaihe River are forecast to drop by 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. Parts of Inner Mongolia, north and northeast China will see temperatures plunge by 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.

Snow is forecast in western China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northern parts of north China and Shandong Province. This morning, fog will affect parts of Yunnan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces.
