Dengue fever in Guangdong

THE number of dengue fever cases in south China’s Guangdong Province is 1,145, the local health department said.
There have been no deaths, but 31 are critical, it said, adding that 90 percent of the cases are in Guangzhou.
The disease control center appealed to citizens to try to eradicate mosquitoes so as to prevent the fever.
