Discipline violations punished
MORE than 540,000 officials at the grassroots level have been punished for discipline violations in the last five years, China's anti-graft agencies said.
Discipline inspection agencies investigated about 518,500 cases from November 2007 to February 2012, according to a statement from the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Ministry of Supervision yesterday.
