THREE women and a man have been detained for spreading rumors in Fujian Province that the world was about to end.
The group told passers-by in the provincial capital of Fuzhou that doomsday was near and only joining their cult could save them.
In related incidents, also in Fujian, six people suspected of fraud are in custody while 34 others being held for spreading the rumor.
