Dragon Boat Festival dates announced
RESIDENTS can start planning for the Dragon Boat Festival leave which starts from June 14 (Monday) to 16 (Wednesday).
This year's festival falls on June 16.
People will have to work on June 12 (Saturday) and June 13 (Sunday), according to the public holiday schedule released by the State Council.
The Dragon Boat festival, which is May 5 in the Chinese lunar calendar, falls on June 16 this year.
People often watch dragon-boat races and eat large rice dumplings wrapped by bamboo leaves to celebrate this festival.
