Drunken cop shots colleague dead after dinner

A drunken police officer shot his colleague to death and injured a passer-by yesterday in a city in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Xinhua reported.
Tan Ningjiang, the chief of a police bureau in Laibin City, allegedly fired five gun shots at his colleague Xie Gang after having dinner together at a roadside eatery. A passer-by named Li Jinfen was wounded in the incident that occurred around 10pm yesterday.
Xie died after treatment failed and Li is still hospitalized, Xinhua said.
