TWENTY people were injured after an elevator fell from the 19th floor to the basement at a high-rise early Friday in Guangdong Province. Ten people with spine and head injuries were still in hospital while the others had been discharged. The victims had just finished a training program and were leaving the building when the accident happened. The cause is still under investigation.
