Emergency evacuation of plane landing in Fuzhou after fire alarm

A FIRE alarm sounded on a passenger plane today after it landed at the Fuzhou Airport in Fuzhou city, capital of southern China’s Fujian Province, leading to the emergency evacuation of all on board in heavy rain, local media reported.

Xiamen Airlines’ flight MF854 had departed from Shanghai's Hongqiao International Airport.

It was reported that after all had reached the ground, one of the evacuation slides snapped.

It's unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident. It was not yet reported what caused the alarm to go off.
