Entertainment by satellite postponed
CHINESE satellite television channels will stop to screen entertainment programs between September 1 and 5 while the country commemorates the 70th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
Popular shows will be replaced by news and documentaries about the war, the Shanghai Morning Post reported, citing a circular by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
Hunan TV, producer of the popular “Where Are We Going, Dad?” said its programs over the five-day period would include a documentary about the Flying Tigers.
